Article Processing Charge (APC) Policy

These standard rates apply across all eight KSD Publications journals.

Eligibility is determined by the date the complete manuscript is first received through the official submission system. Acceptance or publication may take place later; the applicable promotional rate will still apply to eligible submissions. Submissions after 31 December 2026 will be subject to the standard rate: ₹1,500 for Indian authors and US$50 for international authors.

Payment Terms

• There is no manuscript submission fee.
• Authors are not required to make any payment at the time of submission.
• The applicable APC is payable only after formal acceptance: ₹800 for eligible Indian submissions and US$30 for eligible international submissions received on or before 31 December 2026; otherwise ₹1,500 for Indian authors and US$50 for international authors.
• Authors will receive official payment instructions from the editorial office after acceptance.
• Publication processing will begin after confirmation of the APC payment.

Peer Review and Editorial Independence

Payment of the APC does not guarantee acceptance or publication of a manuscript. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated according to the relevant journal's editorial policies and peer-review procedures. Editorial decisions are independent of payment. No payment should be made before an official acceptance decision and payment request.

Refund Policy

If an author withdraws a manuscript before formal acceptance, no APC is payable. Once the APC has been paid after acceptance and publication processing has commenced, the fee is generally non-refundable, except where a refund is approved by the publisher in exceptional circumstances or is required by applicable law.

Transparency of Charges

KSD Publications is committed to maintaining transparency in its publication charges. The standard APC is ₹1,500 for authors in India and US$50 for international authors outside India. Eligible submissions received on or before 31 December 2026 receive the promotional APC: ₹800 for Indian authors and US$30 for international authors, if accepted. No additional publication fee will be charged without prior communication to and agreement with the corresponding author.
